We were in need of something nice on a drizzly day, when children were disappointed the train wasn’t running. It’s a really lovely cafe catering for everyone. Children had ice cream, we had cake coffee and hot chocolate. The menu looked really tasty. Plus you could also have a beer or something stronger if you fancied. The best part was the very friendly staff and atmosphere. Definitely recommend. Thank you View all feedback.
What David Mc Dowell doesn't like about Hotham Park Cafe:
I ordered Ham, egg and chips and was served, lousy cheap ham, very good chips and eggs. Unfortunately the whole meal was spoiled by a large amount of salad on the same plate with a horrible tasting dressing. I was forced to leave 90% of the meal. View all feedback.
Had seen plenty of good reviews of the cafe in the park decided it was our lunch venue with the family on a reasonably nice day. Inside was packed but thankfully got a space outside. Again, queue was pretty long, but actually got served fairly quickly, and food turned up not too long after that. Everyone liked the food they had and it was far better than I probably would have expected. The only downside to our visit, and this is no fault of the cafe, was the people who seemed to be unable to control their dogs when not on a lead at one point we had a small dog under our table, which initiated a bit of a shriek from our daughter (always fearful since a dog stole her sausage roll a couple if years back!
Lovely food in a lovely place! Definitely coming back!!! Will recommend to my friends!
Been here a few times now. The food is always nice and always hot. The staff are nice and friendly and always smile which is nice
This café is incredibly friendly and serves one of the best pizzas I have ever had. It is located in a small park in Brighton and is definitely worth a visit. It also offers great value for money.
