We stopped yesterday, as at the first time the big spot in the sunshine had tee and hot cruise bunkers could see that it was busy in the summer all the staff were very friendly and important note toilets as well! would also be nice on a rainy day walk, but not sure about any cover like all sitting outside maybe a big summer sunshade
Amazing spot Visited to see the rough seas coming in from Storm Dennis Not disappointed cosy spot and a spectacular show by Mother Nature
Usually this is a lovely little cafe. However when we visited today it was not at all good. My hot chocolate was tepid and my toasted cheese sandwich was actually 2 pieces of toast with piles of grated cheese still raw inside. A toasted cheese...sandwich requires the filling to be toasted not JUST the bread. The staff were not the usual people so maybe it has changed hands. At 2pm it began to close and staff were heard saying ices and drinks only. People kept arriving and were turned away. The car parking system is now via the cafe and most drivers were not paying so that needs addressing
Sad to see customer services hasn't improved, the rudest most unhelpful staff in any café. Would not serve me an ice cream 5 mins before closing, which was dreadfully early on a warm sunny July Saturday afternoon with the car park still well occupied and...the beach busy. This place could be a gold mine, and may be it is, but staff complacency is dreadful.
Great little caffe right on the beach. the staff was really friendly and the coffees were fantastic. we didn't eat, but eating looked great. the caffe and the toilets were also clean! next time we were down here!
Nestled near the beach, this café presents a mixed experience, reflecting both its potential and its shortcomings. While some patrons rave about delicious food, highlighted by satisfying breakfast options and excellent coffee, others lament subpar service and inconsistent food quality, including improperly prepared sandwiches. Customers have reported rude staff interactions and an alarming disregard for health guidelines, particularly during busy periods. Despite its welcoming outdoor seating and strategic location for beachgoers, issues such as incorrect opening hours and inattentive management diminish the overall appeal. With a commitment to quality service and food, this café could thrive in its picturesque setting.

This restaurant is a complete scam, run by a rude foreign woman who demands £2.00 for the first hour of parking and anything over £10.00. The cafe only accepts cash unless you spend over £10.00, and the tea and coffee are possibly the worst we've ever had. Avoid this place unless you are absolutely desperate. The toilets are in terrible condition, some don't even work and it's unclear if they are ever cleaned. It seems like the health inspector has never properly visited. Do not park on the road, as a traffic warden will quickly issue a £40.00 parking ticket.
My sister and I took a stroll along the coast, intending to stop at this restaurant for lunch and a drink with a view of the sea. Unfortunately, there was no food available and the restaurant appeared to be closed. It was a sunny and warm day in September, so I would not take the chance of visiting again. We ended up walking back home hungry.
This beach bar is absolutely awful. Not only do you have to pay for parking, but once you arrive, you realize you don't even want to stay. It's unbelievable to be treated so poorly.
Absolutely appalling car park, unfriendly staff, rude, abrupt and couldn't have felt less welcome. You can park outside on the road, I would suggest you do!
Stopped here for a takeaway latte and hot chocolate, sorry but milky water is not a latte or a chocolate. We had to chuck both away as they were disgusting, at nearly £6 for both what a waste of money!!!
