As the name would suggest!! Traditional fish chips.. Went their on the Friday night as we landed in Butlin’s. Had booked a table, but was warned on check in that there was a 30-40 min wait on food. In reality it was less than this but was good to set expectations. Suspect any delays was from short staff. Waitress, Joyce, was extremely busy and run off her feet. What georgepN3753GE doesn't like about Butlin's Traditional Fish Chip:
Do not bother ordering chips from this restaurant. You will not receive enough to even feed a goldfish, and they are served cold. For £3.50, you get what they call 3 scoops, but it is more like 1.5 handfuls. The gravy is watery with minimal flavor. This is not traditional fish and chips; it feels like a rip-off. Excellent quality of food and decent service. one of the better places to eat on the Butlins website, we have two different occasions here with our four year old and we all loved it. pleasant personal and freshly cooked eating. will definitely be back to visit.
Best fish and chips and tartaric acid sauce. the attentive staff. reasonable prices.
Good and helpful staff. the prepared food came to us in time. we had the fish and chips, grilled cocktail, fish cake . the eating was really good. well prepared and presented. in any case, they have a walk at the place because they are not disappointed.
I have just had the best fish and chips I have ever tasted at Butlin’s Bognor Regis. I cannot fault the quality of the fish which was cooked to perfection and the chips were perfect too! Great portions, hot, crispy batter and chips just right with no grease at all. Would recommend that if you have the chance try it for yourself!
