The restaurant offered authentic Goan cuisine with a touch of Goan architecture. The menu primarily focused on seafood dishes, which were on the pricier side. Unfortunately, the restaurant has since closed down and relocated to Mumbai. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Goa Portuguesa:
The restaurant is super expensive, with pathetic food quality. We had ordered Pepper chicken and Chicken Lollypop. The Lollypops were almost burnt. We also informed the Manager. The live music is good for a change, yet service is slow inspite of so many staffs. Much needed to relook the food quality. View all feedback.
Amazing food! Prompt response by the staff. The bar is fab and the vegans are well treated :) the ambience is amazing!
Very divided experience while the prawns were fresh, juicy and yummy, fish curry was very average. Anther good part was the interior, music, relaxed / laid back Goan style but prices were slightly on the higher side.
We had seen the exterior of the hotel and planned to visit during my Anniversary. The interior and the Ambience is good. Live music with a musician and his guitarist friend played new as well as old numbers as per customer choices. The starter was not that great but the main course was real good.
I visited this place on my birthday 28th September. I thought I would have some Goan authentic food. I was in for a surprise. We ordered mutton shakuti . It was horrible. It was not shakuti masala at all. Infact ithe masala was raw and it was absolutely tasteless. I felt it was putting money down the drain. I would have given money to someone who could relish it. I have eaten at their mahim joint and I think food was ok there. All I would say "Goans don't venture to try any Goan dishes there
Good place for Goan food - limited vegetarian options, but good food. I was the only vegetarian in the group of 6!
