Indeed, since November 2018, Restaurant Rigi has been home to the whole team of Gasthof Rössli in Goldau (now closed). In the bright dining room I enjoyed a very good meal in uncomplicated atmosphere. As for the staff, Mira still provides the same great service as earlier. The menu remains the same as in Rössli Goldau, offering traditional Swiss specialties in generous portions. As starter I chose the garlic cream soup, interestingly served inside a carved bread. Revigorating and very flavourful a must eat for garlic lovers! As main course the classic Veal Cordon Bleu proved very tasty, crispy without bring greasy. As dessert I indulged myself with the homemade vanilla parfait with Baileys. Tasty and refreshing. Prices remain pleasantly moderate for Swiss standards. The bill amounted to CHF73 outstanding value for money.
