No... read more I have already eaten a few times in Arth but, surprisingly, never noticed this restaurant. I wish I had discovered it earlier, as my dinner proved excellent. Nomen est omen La Cinquecento is a tribute to the Fiat 500 and the dining room displays many memorabilia on this iconic car.A huge thumbs up to the tenants Teresa and Domenico for the genuine Italian hospitality. Very friendly, helpful and attentive service. The menu features the usual Italian dishes, with focus on homemade pasta. As starter I had a delicious and generous antipasti plate featuring arancini, cheese, olives, dried tomatoes and crude ham. As main course I chose the ‘’trofie alla puttanesca’’ trofie pasta with olives, anchovies, capers, garlic. Once again a tasty and generous portion. Eventually I indulged myself with the daily dessert: a kind of lasagna with a light lemon cream and topped with strawberries. In high price Switzerland the bill remained pleasantly moderate, amounting to CHF65. I have now listed La Cinquecento among my favorites!
