Azon's - Artesia
Azon's
Description
Authentic, generously portioned Indian fare keeps diners coming back — think signature Ashoka thali with tandoori chicken and tender lamb, fragrant curries, garlic naan and notable cocktails. Staff welcome spice preferences and encourage sharing; outdoor seating with heat lamps offers casual comfort. Buffet service is currently suspended and parking can be tight, but bold flavors, value and a broad menu make this a rewarding spot for groups, families and anyone eager to explore Indian classics.

I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. The wiper masala was absolutely delicious, and I would definitely order it again. While parking can be a bit challenging, once you arrive, you won't be disappointed with the food or the service.
The best Indian food I’ve ever had? We used to live in Fremont, CA, where we enjoyed some fantastic Indian cuisine, but then we discovered this place! The only item I wouldn’t order again is the salty lassi; it was way too salty for my taste. Everything else was absolutely delicious!
We keep coming back to this restaurant because the food is absolutely fantastic! Every time, we like to try something new and have never been disappointed. Their Long Island drinks are a must-try! We had the Chicken Curry and the Ashoka The Great, along with Garlic Naan. I can't remember all the names of the dishes, but I hope the photos help you recognize them. Enjoy! Update: The lamb in the Ashoka is simply delicious!
You have a seat outside the sidewalk. Food is tasteful and fresh. Service is friendly, but need improvement.
A dozen or so tables are set for the outdoor dining and several heat lamps nearby to keep the customers comfortable. The buffet service is unavailable at this time. BTW their buffet prices for lunch and dinner prices are a great value for the number of hot dishes and desserts you can try, much better than ordering a la carte. The naan $1.49) and garlic naan $1.99) are cut into four pieces each and go well with the chicken tikka masala $10.99) and saag paneer $8.99). It contains a good amount of chicken in the tikka masala, and few cheese cubes in the saag paneer. I went with mild for the spice level and would love to try spicy/extra spicy levels next time. I would rate this below Saffron Indian Restaurant. Ashoka is more comparable to the nearby The Indian Restaurant, which offers a buffet service pre-covid) for a great price. The carryout a la carte dishes are not the same as experiencing these Indian buffets. Looking forward to returning here and few other Indian buffets in Little India.
