I said we would like to eat, a guy came and told us that they have pasta con funghi and secondo piato something with pork meat and that it is good. We did not receive a.menu. Well, the pasta was average, acceptable, quite oily. The antipasta were good. We were hungry after a long journey to the old city of Artena and enjoyed each of us one piece of bread with tomato and olive oil and one piece with fiori de zucca ?? The second dish was with the some re-re- fried potatoes and some woven re-re cooked pork leg and it was terrible. It was definately not a dish with pork meat cooked in the last 12 hours, but like one from the days before and now just reheated. Very dissapointed of this. We were 70 euros charged for 2 people, with a bottle of mineral water, without receiving a detailed bill for our menu. The meat and the potatoes were not eatble, despite its nice aspect.

The tables are comfortable, the food prepared well and different than what you get in Rome, and the views are beautiful. It's also nice to walk around the grounds a bit after the meal.

Beautiful location in the middle of the green with view on the valley and possibility to walk up to the top of the mountain. Cannelloni di carne divini, gallett... read more Beautiful location in the middle of the green with view on the valley and possibility to walk up to the top of the mountain. Cannelloni di carne divini, galletto alla diavola e arrosto misto di ottimo livello. In winter the interior room is very cozy (try to book the tables near the panoramic windows). In summer the cool under the beautiful pergola and a crazy enjoyment. Take the opportunity to take a walk to the historic centre of the beautiful Artena. I've been there since 1981 and it's not a case.
