I went there regularly during my last stay en la Colonia de San Pere mainly for having a fresh orange juice. Was really great! Once in a while I had pa amb oli, a grilled slice bred with olive oil, tomatoe and Spanish ham/local cheese. Or a fresh salad. Definitively a great place for a light meal made of fresh ingredients. Friendly staff
We’ve been here every time during 5 or 6 visits to Colònia over the past 2 years. Apart from the beautiful setting by the sea with the sun setting behind the mountains in front, the staff here are amazing; so friendly and welcoming. They always remember us. Fantastic fresh fish dishes, lamb, and salads. Plus all the usual tapas dishes. Reasonably priced local wines.
Fabulous spot to sit and listen to the sea as you eat. Wonderful relaxed lunch in a quiet sunny spot. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Lovely fresh, locally sourced food.
Superb authentic Paella full of flavour and wonderful sea food. I visited Playa with friends in time to watch the sunset whilst enjoying the atmosphere and food. Highly recommend
Lunch here was average at best. Advice, if you needs drinks, order 2 in advance, as service is slow, and they seem to not be that bothered and forgot to bring them along. Chose the fish platter (27€ per person), 3 of the 4 fishes were good enough, but the turbot was grey and uncooked and full of bones. A mention to the waiter didn't help at all, he claimed turbot was a gelatinous fish and was like this (not true) but even so, was prepared to send it back to the kitchen for a minute or two. It came back more cooked but still was bony, it was obviously the rank, cheaper end of the fish. Whatever we said, there was to be no price off the bill. Shame really, and left a bad taste. Not one to go back to. Expensive for what it was at €80 for 2.
