Contribute FeedbackUpon entering the restaurant, it was a challenge locating the establishment without any visible signage. Despite the difficult journey to find the place, the food served at the restaurant was satisfying. However, the service received mixed reviews, with some complaints about the lack of interest and professionalism displayed by certain servers. One customer mentioned feeling rushed and unwelcome due to unusual behavior exhibited by the waitstaff. Other patrons complimented the tasty dishes and efficient service they received, with some even ranking it as the best meal of their trip. In terms of ambiance, there were complaints about the lighting being too bright and detracting from the dining experience. Overall, the general consensus seemed to lean towards a positive dining experience, with a few areas that may need improvement.
This was the most disappointing dining experience we've had in a while. We decided to try the BBQ plate, but were unimpressed. The chicken was dry and tasted reheated, as did the ribs. We also ordered their special cocktail, the Sunset drink, which came in two different shades of pink. The service was lacking, with the server seeming indifferent to our needs. My salad came with a choice of Blue Cheese or Pesto, but the pesto that was served was a strange gelatinous blob. To top it off, getting to the restaurant involved navigating a tank hole and climbing stone steps full of gravel. The surrounding area was not what we expected, with mobile homes and racks nearby. This was definitely not the elegant dining experience we were promised.
Recommended by a friend. Husband had shrimps and grits small plate. Was enough for a meal. And I had chicken pancakes. That was very good. We sat in the dining room. But the lounge area seemed very nice and cozy and had music from 18:30 Woukd definitely goes back.
Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed on MLK day. Despite braving a 30-minute drive in a snowstorm, we were unable to enjoy a meal there.
The food was delicious. The service was wonderful—all the staff members. Thank you for not rushing us and asking us to leave. We had a leisurely and relaxing dinner. We also thank you for not charging a fee to use our credit card to pay our bill.
Sabroso fits the bill for friendly service, excellent margaritas, delicious entrees and ambience! My wife and I were seated in the cozy bar with Jimmy Statler on the piano (as well as guitar and mandolin). We ordered the steak fritte and wild king salmon entrees, both of which were prepared perfectly and delicious. Between the Irish coffee, chocolate pots de creme and unique entertainment, Sabroso ranks as one of our favorites. Kudos to team Sabroso!
