Called in whilst passing for a cold beer after an energetic day walking. Location nicely shaded with outside terrace and attractive inside. Didn't eat, but menu looked interesting. Helpful owner.
On a wonderful Wednesday afternoon I made my way via bicycle up to the Auberge to enjoy a meal cooked with wild plants, or plant sauvage . The Dessert, an Elderberry creme, was perhaps the most delicious thing I 've ever tasted. The meat was perfectly cooked, the fried potato with nettle sauce was beyond savory, and the views, walk around the property, and friendliness of the owners was unparalleled in my entire time in France. If you are staying in Arrens, or anywhere nearby for that matter, you 'd be doing yourself a disservice to miss this place. The dinner there is also amazing : Bon apetite!
