This was a lovely place to grab a quick but very tasty breakfast right in the main square AND was open on a Sunday!! All the food was freshly baked and the coffee was to die for. The staff were very friendly even with my appalling French. View all feedback.

While exploring the WW1 memorials and the fascinating underground caverns used in that war, we found this superb cafe for a fantastic lunch. Simply some of the finest bread and cakes I have ever tasted; good range of baguettes with a range of fillings and with a lovely range of bread and cakes to accompany them. A chilled glass of wine to wash down the meal made it complete.
An excellent place for lunch, the staff are very friendly and their English is good I would recommend this to anyone wanting a small lunch
If you are in a self catering apartment on either Place Des Héros or the Grande Place and want breakfast before 10:00am then this is the place. Excellent bread , croissants ,pain au Raison and associated products which can be eaten in the interior or on the large terrace.
We found this bakery on our first day in the Grand Place, and what a find. The staff were lovely and eager to help even with the language barrier!! The food was great with some tasty, fresh fillings to put in your choice of baguette. The pastries were lovely too! With a Greta choice of homemade, fresh pastries!! Worth a quick visit.
