Wine and starters are overpriced. Main courses good but also expensive and very slow service. One chef for the entire restaurant meant we waited over an hour for the starter and another half hour for the main course. When you pay these high prices you expect a higher standard. View all feedback.
What Marty G doesn't like about Goxoa:
We made the reservation with TheFork. The restaurant deleted it without updating us. When we arrived the maitre told us that was the restaurant was completed even if more then half of the tables were empty. At the end the maitre gave us the table. Waitress super kind. Thanks to him we enjoyed the dinner at least. View all feedback.
We recently met this place on the recommendation of some friends and when we are in the south it is a mandatory stop. The treatment of the staff is unbeatable the qualities of the unique food according to the quality of the food, is not cheap, but it is worth paying for trying the delights they have. we recommend booking in advance. They don't open at noon and dinners are at 7:00, but usually tables are full the same day.
The site is beautiful and elegant (although not prepared for excessive noise) the service well and the tasting menu a success. In my opinion, they will charge you the bread and snack you have not asked for, but serve you at the table ... on a site of this category is very inadequate. Rest is fine.
Great service, very polite waiters, food is an interesting mix and some are very good, but depends on your taste. Don't get fooled with the price rating, this is a Michelin star restaurant, the prices are
This chic, modern restaurant is recommended in Michelin 2023 and is conveniently located on the boundary of Playa de las Americas and Los Christianos. Fortunately we had reserved, as the restaurant was fairly busy when we visited on a Thursday evening in January. We selected the multi-course Menu Degustacion (tasting menu) which was excellent value at 60 Euros per person. Following a slight hiatus, amuse bouches were followed by a succession of exquisitely presented small plates featuring local ingredients with a range of flavours and textures demonstrating the impressive technique of the kitchen. Sadly, the good value of the food was not matched by the wine. As a glance at the on-line wine list will show, there a very few bottles available below 50 Euros and many exceed 100+ Euros and few wines (other than champagne and dessert wines) are offered by the glass(from 12 Euros). The wine pairing with the tasting menu is priced at 50 Euros. Other than the slight hiatus at the outset, the service was well-timed, friendly, efficient and professional. It 's just a shame that the wine prices were so high in comparison with the good value of the impressive food offered by Goxoa . Our final bill for 2 people was 193 Euros (ex tip).
