We were walking past and saw the ice cream display so thought we'd give it a try, so glad we did as it was very good ice cream, we were back a couple of days later and it was just as good. View all feedback.
What Michael G doesn't like about Aroma Italia:
Stopped for an 'Italian ice cream ' next to Playa Honda beach. The girl who served us was polite and friendly. We had Amarena (Cherry) and Bailey 's flavours. Sadly, the ice cream lacked any taste whatsoever. If blindfolded, we could not have identified the flavours. Really disappointing. View all feedback.
With sea views, very good service, all the girls were very kind and attentive to my requests, always with a smile and with good disposition. I found myself in a drop.
The location this cafe automatically means that it is very over priced, but it is something that is accepted and understood given the surroundings as long as you are given correct customer service and the food/drinks are good. After almost ten years of passing by here weekly to have a coffee/juice/ice cream, today was my last time. Today I brought my Dad with me to enjoy the view and an ice cream. I asked very specifically for just fresh fruit and cream (no ice cream and NO sugary toppings/sauces), when my fruit arrived covered in this horrible sugary sauce, I nicely asked for this to be rectified. Firstly with the waitress bringing the fruit and ice cream over I was told “well you should have specified you didn’t want the sauce”, when she was told that I did, instead of apologising and bringing me another 9€ tiny portion of cleverly cut strawberries, she calls the rest of the staff to belittle me and tell me that I was wrong, “but fine”. I then felt so down from starting a great afternoon that I went in to tell the staff to please forget it. That my dad would enjoy his but that I no longer wanted anything.... which is where I became very thankful I did. I go in to see a waitress hand picking the strawberries out of the sauce covered bowl they gave me to place in another one... when I told her no, her exact words were “It is here now so you’re paying for it”! I have never experienced such a lack of respect for regular clients as this (hence my first ever bad review on here). It was unbelievably rude and vile. Such a shame that somewhere like this has no care for residents and regular clients due to being able to continue to overcharge unknowing tourists without worry. I hope this makes people aware of the kind of staff this place has here at the moment. A few changes and this could be lovely again but not for me!
I We want to aroma italia with my family for my niece first birth day party. Best food excellent service very friendly I recommend this amazing place with nice view of the las americas.
The Aroma Italia is a cafe situated on the seafront of Playa de las Americas. It overlooks the beach straight out to the sea. Full selection of drinks, ice creams, cocktails, crepes, burgers, desserts, paella, sandwiches, salads and English breakfast. There is quite a lot of tables and chairs both inside and outside as well as along the beach front. We sat down and enjoyed our ice cream.
