Wir waren zu dritt in der Mittagszeit dort, aßen vier (!) Vorspeisen und zweimal Dessert.Der Service war unglaublich dezent und freundlich, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, das Essen war hervorragend. Einziger Negativpunkt: Pro Gedeck wurde ein Preis von 3€ erhoben, der bei Bestellung eines Hauptgerichtes entfiel. Das ist für deutsche Verhältnisse etwas eigenartig. Probably the best meal I had in Germany. I had escaped the beef asparagus. I also had the disgusting suppe as a starter. they were well designed and very tasty. I'm staying next door in the anker hotel, so it was a short walk. here and back. the service was excellent. it was an excellent culinary experience at a reasonable price. if they are on the move in southern Germany, they should stop in a room field.
One of the most fantastic restaurants I've ever visited. we had a 5-course menu and wonderful wein to follow the meal. the chef came and told us about eating and we were treated like kings and queens. really a place to go and... cheaply combined what they get.

It is one of the best places to have an evening meal in saalfeld, to taste the fish. outdoor space for eating is very limited. in the summer.
