Although somewhat off the beaten track, the o... read more We ate here for the first time as part of the prawn special. I would describe the restaurant as a hidden champion. Although somewhat off the beaten track, the overall experience of the evening was more than excellent. The quality of the ingredients and the food was outstanding, the service very friendly and attentive, and the value for money was more than reasonable. The atmosphere is very informal, as the restaurant is not very large. There's a lounge attached to the dining room. Since we live nearby, we'll be happy to return, either for one of the numerous specials or occasionally à la carte.

The hotel's extremely quiet location is particularly noteworthy. Despite the convenient connection to Arnsberg, I was able to relax and enjoy a wonderful night's sleep without any noise disturbance. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the breakfast offered a good selection for a great start to the day. I would be happy to come back!
