Hotel Restaurant Menge - Arnsberg

The picturesque old town of arnsberg lies on a cliff. the restaurant is located just outside the old town at the foot of the mountain. the road where the hotel is located is not the most beautiful opposite, but is quickly forgotten thanks to the park-like garden behind the hotel/restaurant. the restaurant is attractively furnished and equipped with all modern amenities, including a covered terrace with views of the garden. we had decided to use this restaurant because of the positive comments from other reviewers and they were right: it is worth a detour. the five-course gourmet menu "(feinschmecker in 5 gangs", about 60 €) was of high quality. the court with soulteufel was excellent and is by far our favorite. the court with fried cheese (the Rhabarber-Chutney was anyway good) we cannot recommend. who wants to drink moderately, for whom is the separate card with a rich selection of open wines must be one! all in all a good quality that you also get charged.

Wir wurden sehr nett begrüßt und bekamen einen schönen Tisch zugewiesen. Alles in allem war es kein günstiger Abend, jedoch war die Qualität auch wirklich sehr gut. Das Personal und die Besitzerin waren besonders freundlich und offen. Für besondere Anlässe sehr zu empfehlen!

Es war wieder einmal ein toller Abend! Das Essen war wie immer unglaublich lecker und von hoher Qualität, aber was uns besonders gefallen hat, war der erstklassige Service! Vielen Dank und bis zum nächsten Mal!
