Dierbergs Bakery - Arnold

I used to work at this chain, and I have to say that I really dislike this store. I try to avoid shopping here, but today I gave it a chance. Unfortunately, while I was checking out, a man training a cashier on register cleaning was staring at me the entire time, which made me so uncomfortable that I waited in the car while my husband finished up. Please do not contact me or respond to this post. I bring this up because I’ve mentioned to several managers that the music is way too loud, but it seems like they just don’t care. It’s also quite amusing how Dierbergs boasts about their treatment of employees when the reality is quite different, as evidenced by their monthly hiring fairs.

I visited Dierbergs in Arnold this evening and unfortunately lost my wallet. In a panic, I called the store and was informed that no one had turned it in yet. About 30 minutes later, I received a call saying that an employee named Trent had found it during his break. I am incredibly grateful to him, especially during this holiday season. Thank you so much, Trent! I wish there was a way for me to repay your kindness. Kudos to Dierbergs for employing such compassionate staff!

This is the only place we get our family's Thanksgiving turkey, which comes with delicious dressing and sweet butter. We also always order a ham, sliced, along with sides, rolls, and sweet butter spread. The food is so delicious that our family doesn't even realize it's from Dierbergs until we tell them! The price is absolutely worth every penny.
