O Cantinho Da Manuela, - Armamar

It was a fantastic evening at Manuela's restaurant! The people were so kind and Manuela even sang a Portugese fado song for us. Beside that, the food was very nice and of good quality. It was an evening we will never forget!

We found this place by luck, and it was more then a pleasant surprise . The food was excellent! I had the best stake I had in portugal , it was perfectly cooked and huge. My girlfriend ate vegetarian local dish that was also great. The hosts are extremely nice and they really cares that we will enjoy. The price was also pretty cheap for what you get we ate 2 first, 2 main , 2 desserts and a bottle of wine for 35 euros. We will definitely recommend it to any one spending the night in this area

This was my favorite restaurant during our one month Portugal vacation. Manuela and Jose have created a warm and welcoming environment. It is small, cozy, not fancy...and we had some of the best food and wine of our trip. Her specialty is cabrito (baby goat) roasted in the oven with potatoes. Came with appetizers of some excellent chorizo and bread. A really nice green salad with the best olive oil dressing ever. For dessert we had a flan type custard. We let Jose choose our wine and we had a terrific local red. The best part is the obvious joy Manuela and Jose bring to their work. I could have spent hours in their company listening to their stories. If you are anywhere near Armamar, this restaurant is worth a visit and if it is off season and Manuela and Jose have time to sit and chat...even Better! Their English is no great but their Spanish is good and their kindness transcends language.

Em um quarto pequeno, os visitantes são bem-vindos e servidos com educação e simpatia. uma boa surpresa, muito boa na relação qualidade preço. carne muito boa e bem cozinhada.
