Chinese restaurants are all about the same. Same oily greasy feeling in the air from the frying. Same friendly people at the counter. Prices are high everywhere now. My beef and peapods were good, but the pods were frozen. I remember when Chinese restaurants had fresh peapods that would snap when you chewed them. I wish the egg rolls were bigger too. What Jillybilly doesn't like about Yen Yen In Arl:
We went for lunch and tried three of their lunch entrees. Our food arrived lukewarm and almost cold. By the time we were half way through with our meal we were eating cold food. Hot food straight from the kitchen is the only way to ensure a restaurant receives at least 4 stars from me. Egg rolls and every dish were mid. Fried rice was a little to salty and the sweet and sour sauce tasted watered down. I wouldn't come... View all feedback.
Old school Chinese! Really good egg rolls. This place does not disappoint portions are huge!
The best Chinese food in the suburbs! Service is fast and portions are huge. I highly recommend!
Went for lunch specials, and they were great! I had not been there in years, and that top-notch egg roll is still delicious and best around the area! They still bring a fortune cookie and almond cookie after your meal, and tea before your meal. They have never stopped with that tradition, which is so nice!
I wasn’t really pleased with the taste of my food today. It lacked flavor and all I tasted was salt.
Food was out quick and was really good Never thought a waiter would ask for a bigger tip kinda made me angry
