Mont Blanc Pastry - Arlington Heights

I have been ordering cakes from this bakery for years. The cake quality is consistently excellent. The mousse type of cakes need to be ordered 5 days in advance. The prices of the cakes are high, but they are on par with high end bakeries (e.g. Tous les Jours, Ambrosia Euro-American Patisserie, etc. . Our favorite cake is the Tiramisu cake. For Birthday cakes, they make a sign on top of a piece of white chocolate.

Wrote a similar review on Yelp. I’ve been going here since I was 3 years old with my parents. They have the best strawberry shortcake I have ever had in my life. Softest texture and perfect amount of sweetness. Their green tea cake and green tea crepe cake are also one of a kind. Also, the head baker is super talented and I’ve multiple birthday cakes from them. Highly recommend, Just across from Mitsuwa — and yes, I’d choose this over Hippo (which is amazing too)

I've been here twice. Tastes not bad. I'm disappointed with the opening hours. It's closed around 5 pm on 12/14, a normal business day. But it shows on Google Maps that it's opening as usual (wasted me 1.5 hours driving to here).

This morning I purchased a delicious yellow cake with varieties of fruit in the center and on top. The cake and frosting have no sweetness or after taste. That base and the fresh fruit made this a wonderful creation that I will return for again and again. I had very good assistance with the sales and look forward to testing their individual sales slices as well.
