Eddie's Lounge - Arlington Heights

I've been visiting this place for many years, back when Eddie and Bonnie were the owners. The new owners have done a great job of preserving many of the restaurant's food traditions, including their amazing fish fry on Wednesdays and Fridays. The fresh ocean perch is lightly breaded and fried to perfection, and they offer it as an "all you can eat" option, which is reasonably priced. Other menu items, like the pulled pork and burgers, are also very tasty. They have a good selection of beers and liquors, and the atmosphere feels like a classic tavern or restaurant. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. They also offer other "all you can eat" specials, like fried chicken. The staff is friendly, though the TVs can sometimes be a little loud; you can always request to have the volume turned down. Overall, you can't go wrong here.

TACOS!!!! Taco Tuesdays are amazing!!! You can get delicious tacos for just $1.25 each. Highly recommended!

This is a fantastic dive bar! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the drinks pack a punch. The food is also quite good; I've only had the chicken soup, but I have a feeling everything else is just as tasty. Highly recommend!

The fried ocean perch was awesome and ask for it as a swap on the Reuben sandwich.... AMAZING! The service was timely and kind. We will go back when we're in the area.

Friendly, delicious and welcoming northwestern Chicago tavern and restaurant that is a taste of classic Americana. The tots are top of the line and if I am there at the right time on one of my visits from Colorado, they even a special Habanero sauce they make fresh which I am always keen to add to my ketchup. I was even there imbibing on the night the Cubs won the series in 2016. I am excited for my next visit. Yum! Prost!
