We are saddened to see this restaurant close its doors. It has been truly fantastic, but it appears that a decline in horse racing fans has led to fewer customers visiting. I hesitated to write a review since the restaurant is closing in a week, but I felt compelled to share my recent experience, which was disappointing for the first time. I usually rave about this place, but if you're considering going for one last meal before they shut down, I advise against it—it may tarnish your previous positive experiences. So sad to hear this location is closing. We went for our favorite of pot roast nachos and burgers. Who ever heard of pot roast nachos? But they are delicious. Burger was great. Restaurant is old school. Quiet, soothing, low lighting, great for conversation without hearing your neighbor. Acoustics are great for keeping bar noise contained. Service is always excellent.
Great Thanksgiving Dinner with the family. Great value and great food although I would have liked to be able to order items from the regular menu as well.

Could not have been better! EVERYTHING was cooked to perfection. Very comfortable, staff was friendly and attentive. Worth every penny. I'd like to go back just to try other dishes!
Exceptional service as usual! Rose our waitress is the best there is!
