Zhu Pan-asian Vegan - Arlington

We ordered a variety of food from here for the first time tonight, and there were five of us sharing the meal. We tried many delicious dishes together. I’m curious if there’s MSG in the food, as it had a distinctly sweet flavor and some of the dishes were a bit gummy and candied. Overall, most of what we had was quite tasty, and we really enjoyed sharing everything.

Zhu is a vegan restaurant that shows great potential for improvement. I hope the waiter had a more engaging personality.

I had an amazing lunch experience at this restaurant today. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the lemongrass soup was absolutely fantastic. The broth was rich in flavor and incredibly refreshing, with delightful notes of ginger and spice that added an extra punch.

One of the best vegetarian/vegan places around. My partner usually doesn't prefer vegan places, this changed her mind with their seitan. The pad thai was great, portion sizes are great, if you are not hungry one dish can serve two meals. Definitely recommend this place for anyone, vegan or otherwise.

Local guide here. Ordered take out. Not a fan of vegan food, but decided to try. I ordered the Smoked Teriyaki Seitan and it was absolutely delicious. VERY good. Give this dish and this restaurant a try!
