Tandoor Indian - Arlington

We live this place and have been coming here for years. I'm so glad it survived the pandemic. Watch them make naan bread in their own Tandoori oven. We usually go for the lunch buffet, Sunday through Saturday. The food is always fresh. I love thesamosas with mint or tamarind chutney. I nice selection of choices for a reasonable price. Great service too.

First time here. It's one of my son's favorite restaurants and he highly recommended it. Indian cuisine is different and more spicy than I expected. It was very flavorful and the servings were generous. I want to go back and try a few other menu items. Idid enjoy the iced chai tea. The lentil soup was quite tasty. I can't remember exactly what I ordered, but I would recommendthis family owned restaurant for their authenticity of food and flavors! Another visit for my son's birthday dinner. Again, weenjoyed the authentic dishes with their superb flavoring. You are served with plenty when you eat here! I added pics and willtry to get the names correct on the dishes we had!

This was my first time visiting and it was an average experience. The food didn't taste fresh or high quality to me. The flavors weren't my favorite and there weren't enough options for a buffet style restaurant. The prices were acceptable.

The restaurant's theme is unique, featuring Turkic-Persian styled paintings, women in saris, and mini arches reminiscent of Indian civilization from the 15th to the early 18th century. The ambiance, with green lighting and deep wall paint, evoked memories of my travels in India. The Punjabi culture was well represented in the menu, with standout dishes like korma and chicken tikka masala. The high-quality naan paired perfectly with the korma, creating a delightful dining experience. After dining at this restaurant for a week, I can confidently say it is one of the best Indian/Pakistani restaurants in Texas, and undoubtedly the best in Arlington and the surrounding areas in terms of quality service. I look forward to seeing more diverse options on the menu, such as the mustard soup with real countryside bread (Sursu saag with Indian pita).

This is by far the worst Indian food I have ever had. I ordered 2 malai kofta, chicken tikka tandoor, and chicken saag, and all of them were terrible. The malai kofta had kofta that felt like rubber balls, and the chicken tikka had no seasoning at all. I cannot even begin to explain how disappointing it was to open the containers and see what was inside. If you are looking for authentic Punjabi or North Indian cuisine, I highly recommend avoiding this restaurant. I hope the owner takes steps to improve their recipes because the quality of the food is unacceptable.
