However, my dining experience was quite unpleasant and made me wish I had chosen a different place. The parking situation, ambiance, and décor leave much to be desired. While your food arrives very quickly—surprisingly so—you will feel pressured to eat fast to make room for waiting customers. Be ready to push through crowds at the entrance and endure rude service from the condescending hostesses. If you want to dine at a specific time, plan to arrive hours in advance, as Ray’s “doesn’t take reservations.” Otherwise, expect to wait two hours—or even three to four hours on Fridays and Saturdays—before you get a table.

The entire me... read more We weren’t quite sure what to anticipate as we entered this restaurant located in a strip mall. However, I ended up having the most amazing steak! The entire meal was wonderful, and we will definitely prioritize dining there again on our next trip to DC.
