Pho Pasteur Restaurant - Arlington

I always get pho tai bo vien (pho with thinly sliced beef and meatballs) at restaurants This place is definitely in my top 3 spots.

Went on a Thursday for dinner and it was pretty emptyWe asked to have a few minutes to look at the menu.

Service was lighting fast. Delicious broth and their sautéed chili sauce has garlic and addictive. Under cook boba in the drink but I can let that slide!

Food was pretty good. Had beef stew and my husband a pork rice plate. The only downside for me was that there is a fee for debit/credit card and the water has a very strong sink flavor. Also the viet coffee was like 80% condense milk and 20%coffee soi finished it in a 2 sips. Other then that it was great.

I'm giving you all a fair warning this place is infested with roaches, gnats and God knows what else. Bf got me a take out pho and guess what! Found a live roach in my box. I've also had hair in my food here before but I didn't write a review because Ididn't take a picture of it before I left. This has happened so many times countless times, actually. Both bugs and hair. Notjust to me but to some of my friends. I'm not expecting Michelin level food safety, at the end of the day, I know this is afamily owned Viet place. But this is honestly so nasty, man. Just don't eat here unless you like eating roaches. Go to PhoPalace literally down the road, way better food, and never any random, gross things in it.
