Contribute FeedbackNestled near Washington DC, this Bangladeshi restaurant offers a mix of delightful flavors and notable dishes. The Morog Polao, Mughlai, and Kacchi Beef Tehari are standout options that impress with their authentic taste. However, the dining experience could benefit from improvements in ambiance and cleanliness, as some guests noted issues with hygiene and the overall decor. While service was inconsistent, the warmth of the staff made a positive impression. Vegetarians may find limited options, and patrons are advised to visit when the dishes are freshly made. With some enhancements, this eatery holds the potential to shine as a culinary gem.
My friend is bangladeshi. every time we go through the opposite during the trip, we'll be over here. the name translated literally into the home life of the owners is very friendly and accommodating. they offer several vegan items.
I had a mixed experience at this restaurant, but there were certainly some standout dishes worth trying. The Morog Polao and Mughlai dishes were exceptionally delicious, leaving me satisfied with their authentic flavors. However, I must admit I was a bit let down by the Fuchka. It didn't meet my expectations and left me disappointed with its taste. The ambiance inside the restaurant could use some improvement as it didn't match the quality of the food. I believe enhancing the atmosphere would elevate the overall dining experience for customers. One area that needs attention is the customer service provided by the management team. During my visit, I noticed a lack of customer service skills, which might disappoint some patrons. I hope they address this issue promptly because excellent customer service is key to retaining loyal customers.Despite the shortcomings, I would still recommend trying their Morog Polao and Mughlai dishes, as they were undeniably delightful. With a little improvement in the ambiance and customer service, this place has the potential to become a fantastic dining destination for everyone.
Customers service is below average . Only reason I went there few times because they are only Bengali restaurants in DMV are as far as I know. But they continually disappointing. I was addressing one issue to the young guy at the register (probably he was indian) and his reply was rude and unprofessional.I will definitely avoid this place .
Underrated Gem, The chicken biryani, beef tehari, and chicken roast are all bursting with flavor, yet remarkably non-greasy. From the attentive service to reasonable prices, this place deserves recognition. Don't miss out on this underrated culinary gem. I don’t like to dining. Always try to take out.Food: 5/5
Food was good, especially the mutton curry. It's a must try. Food served is very homely. They do not have much vegetarian option, the day we visited being a Monday did not have most of the items on the menu. But whatever we ordered was really tasty. About the ambience I would say that the owner must take a little care about the decor and cleanliness. The place looks shabby.Vegetarian options: Not much vegetarian option ?Parking: Not many parking spots are available
