What Constance Feil doesn't like about Flying Fish:
Perhaps they were good in the past, but today's experience was disappointing. The shrimp in the gumbo was tough, the gravy was too thick, the fries were as hard as if they had been reheated, and the hush puppies were too tough to bite into. I had heard great things about this place for a quick lunch with my mother, but we will not be returning. View all feedback.
Excellent roasted catfish! The grilled sweet frozen margarita was a hit.

This was my first experience trying Cajun cuisine, and I enjoyed it overall. However, I personally found it to be too spicy. The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely, with nice decorations and a family-friendly atmosphere.
First time ever going here, never really knew there was a good seafood spot in downtown Arlington. A nice placw to grab a quick bite and explore around. I ordered the combo basket and it was a good amount of food. Will be back for more great food!
