Too bad that this restaurant, yet the first sushi restaurant on arles and super well located, has not improved and diversified on products. Competition being there, it is difficult to say that sushi still keeps the route gustatively speaking. Small portions, little or no flavours. Too bad! I'm not talking about the Greek raincoat as Japanese. I put 3 stars for the kitchen because sushi precursor on arles, otherwise I would have put 2. Service Bof! To the drip... And cold, Arlesian what, and this despite a reservation. (reservation that can only be realized for the inside, not for the terasse, unless there is room on the terrace as we arrive)
Usually we're on Arles. There we took the time to settle on the small terrace next to the arenas. The waitress was in small care with us, pleasant and good advice. The meal was excellent, it was perfect.
Traveling Solo, the waitress was extremely rude. I sat down in a very overly lit empty restaurant because my host said it was a good restaurant. I sat down on a table but was told off that I could only sit at a table for 2 (in the middle of a brightly lit Restau) Atmosphere was far to be found and it took me only 10 seconds to leave : without regret. I found a lovely warm Lebanese restau where I would happily come back to. But never this Japanese…
We had a lunch here and I think the dishes were quite good at this place. The servant was friendly, would recommend.
We wanted to have lunch today at this place and went away bitterly disappointed We sat down at a table and were scolded if we are in 2 we cannot sit here. We were moved to a table very close to another occupied table. Both tables were less than a meter from each other, thus not respecting current Covid rules. We then asked if there is some English spoken and got the harsh „No“. The service sounded so rude that we decided to leave which was accompanied with a few not nice sounding words in French language….
