It is a crêpery in the refreshing setting of the garden of the god of the hotel, so that we can eat there from the street but there are not only pancakes. Proof of day menu with pie and green salad then dessert or coffee. What we took (13,90€ . By greed we added a sugar pan and there, a little disappointment probably because of the lack of kitchen. But overall we were very satisfied and appreciated the good service.
Very nice vaulted room in stone, very friendly boss, super helpful staff, quality report high price: beef paved, homemade fries, salad, dessert lost see photo): A pleasure! and everything with 1 coffee and 1/4 rosé for 38 euros to two! I recommend it.
Warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. The dish I served was excellent! The fries were homemade, like the sauce. As for the chicken needles, they were very tender. Quick and friendly service! An exceptional restaurant in an emblematic setting of the city of Arles. This is a place that I strongly advise all lovers of history and cuisine!
On a spur of the moment daytrip to Arles on a Sunday we decided to try this place for lunch. Walking in from the street we were offered a table on the garden side shaded, cool perfect! Our waiter was friendly and helpful and capable in either French or English. The menu du jour choices were excellent, the pitcher of wine decent. Awesome value. At the height of tourist season I’d verify that the garden is not overwhelmed by Van Gogh tourists was not on our day.
It was very relaxing to sit in the court of the ancient hospital facing the garden with a fountain featured in one of Van Gogh's paintings, the area is now called Espace Van Gogh, nibbling on simple galettes, sipping a glass of rosé and finishing up with some café noisettes. A very pleasant environment, passable food and a friendly waitress. Our preferred rating would be 3.5 good.
