Came across this restaurant whilst wandering round the edge of the amazing Roman arena, and thought ' ooh that sounds an interesting set menu at a good price '... read more Came across this restaurant whilst wandering round the edge of the amazing Roman arena, and thought ' ooh that sounds an interesting set menu at a good price ' and it was. We had the gratin of mussels and aubergine salad were both tasty starters, one richer and the other lighter we swapped half way through to get the mix. Then the bull stew and the squid stew were both delicious and attractively presented. Incredibly tender and both melted in the mouth. A slice of Lemon and of strawberry tart rounded things off nicely. 3 good courses for 22euros what 's not to like.

I ordered prawns which were quite disappointing, only received four and they were tasty but over cooked for my taste. Usual tourist wine list.
