this is a comfortable small place for a light meal. we ate both salate. they had sweet pickles and mint on them, which was a delicious surprise. another surprise was that the place was not sniffing about wein, as we feared it could be. have cheap local weine on the list as well as chic expensive. but they're all good. I give them because of good eating and drinking and a total lack of pretension. View all feedback.

Helpful friendly staff, super planks (planche) with plenty of fresh cut bread, bread basket renewed without us asking. We asked for local wine and were served two generous portions of excellent inexpensive red. When we asked to share a last glass between two people, no...problem! We had gone into the restaurant because we found the soup of the moment an interesting idea, being new to France! A favourite experience in Arles.
A very good place to have a good glass of wine and charcuterie and cheese, very simple but very nice place
Just around the corner of the place du forum, we stopped there nights in a row. they have a good choice of crying on glass. we could try a few different glasses and learn a lot about weine from the Provence. they also have a small menu and the fresh oysters were fabulous.
During our first wanderings of Arles, we stopped at Bar a Vin for a glass of Rose. We stayed for a nice rissoto du Jour and another glass of their fine Rose. This quiet street allowed us to done al fresco and enjoy people and...dog watching. We appreciated the relaxed and friendly atmosphere and the goo, actually, very good rissoto.
