Las Cuevas De Ramon - Arico

We love Cueva de Ramón this is our 3rd (maybe 4th) visit. We love coming along the old Arico road the first time we came it was a pure mistake we found this place! There is no menu starters are a mixed Salad and the best grilled cheese I've had in Tenerife (and Ive tried a lot). Then the mains are pork in soya with peppers, caramelised chicken, vegetable noodles, rabbit and papas arrugadas (Canarian potatoes). All the food is extremely tasty, between 4 we had a salad, a portion of cheese, chicken, pork, noodles and Potatoes all cooked perfectly. The atmosphere is very friendly, Ramon is lovely and the cave is a unique place to eat. At €15 a head for a huge lunch with wine and soft drinks great value. We love bringing family as it's just so different to the normal guachinchies and restaurants on the Island. We make a day out of it but stopping here is always a highlight!

We got here after driving for a while through some tiny roads. The place is a cave in the mountains, which gives it a nice touch, also you get nice views from the outside of the eastern side of the island. The waiter was really nice to us, explaining in Spanish the menu with detail. We had a massive amount of really nice typical food at a ridiculous price. To top it all, the waiter just left bottles of liquor on our table after the meal for us to help ourselves. A really nice typical place that I cannot recommend enough.

Auténtico Guachinche. Se come bien y distinto, además de que producen su propio vino. ¡Ramón es lo máximo! Muchas gracias por tan buena atención siempre.

Platos ricos y abundantes! Agradable para ir con amigos, en pareja, con la familia... Sitio casero de los de siempre, con servicio amable y precio razonable. Me encanta que te ponga el licor de higos picos con el café!!
