Over several days, I tried their fresh mussels, prawns, salmon sandwiches, and their famous prawn sandwich. The seafood they served was the freshest and best I've ever had, and I've eaten a lot of seafood. If you find yourself in Oban, make sure to treat yourself to this delicious local seafood. Just a heads up, they only accept cash payments.

They were very accommodating and had the platter ready for us when we arrived at the ferry terminal. They even packed it in my cooler bag with ice, and we had a fantastic meal upon reaching our holiday cottage.

I had lunch here five times and tried a variety of dishes including scallops, cold shrimp, lobster sandwich, mussels, crab sandwich, and prawn sandwich. The prices are reasonable and the location near the Calmac harbor is convenient. The seating is communal with benches, so you can sit, eat, and even make friends with other diners and travelers. Just be sure to eat quickly in the colder months as the food cools down fast due to the cold wind.

Claimed not to have enough cash/coins and so gave us less change back than was due when we paid. Server thought this was acceptable! Very strange given they only accept cash and there is a bank very close by!
