Clean, airy and the staff couldn't do enough for myself and my son. We ate here quite a few times in the week also had takeaway from here. The food was great it was hot and plenty of it and reasonable price. I would definitely recommend Hunters Bar and Grill to everyone of any age good choice and the carvery was second to none View all feedback.
What geomadden1968 doesn't like about Hunters Grill:
We always bring our kids to the restaurant at the leisure center for dinner. The food is usually spot on, and this time was no different - the food was good. However, this time the issue was with the alcohol shortage. We usually have a couple of halves of Hendrick's gin when we visit, but this time they had run out. My wife decided to go for the small Prosecco bottle, but that was also out of stock. We ended up havin... View all feedback.
Stayed at the site for 4 nights. Drinks are expensive. Breakfast was really, really salty, so salty i couldn't finish it. The sausage was a bit tough. The rest of it was good, but as I've mentioned, the salt content was awful!
We come to hunters bar and grill regular as we are caravan owners for over 15yr so is the regular place for meals with the kids and family.recently though the prices have rocketed, and portions have shrunk big time(tempura chicken starter)3 small pieces of shredded chicken was pathetic.we were shocked at the size of this and were trying not to laugh
Delicious food, from a beautiful menu selection. The food came quite quickly but not sonic speed. Desserts all looked awesome but I didn't get the chance to try one out my self.
The people working here don’t seem to really care or give a s##t about their job. We waited an hour tonight before someone came over to ask if everything was ok, I replied “ not really as we are still waiting on food” they hadn’t even put our order through so we had to wait even longer on them cooking it! We got about £6 taken off our bill for this which was a joke! Wouldn’t go back!
Village is lovely but the Hunters bar and grill service is soo poor. We waited over 1hr 20min for our food and it was only us and one other couple in the restaurant! After waiting soo long for our food and no apology we left and asked for a coffee to takeaway. The girl behind the bar told us the coffee machine was switched off and we couldn’t have a coffee. What restaurant tells their customers they are open for service but can’t have a coffee because the machine is switched off?? What does that even mean? Do coffee machines have opening items? Or does it basically mean it’s 9:15pm and she couldn’t be bothered cleaning the coffee machine again? : during difficult times for the restaurant sector these guys will need to up their game.
