ADORABLE, themed, all natural snow cone stand. I absolutely LOVE all the gnomes decorating the place, the little hut and the BBQ place behind it (Bumbershoot BBQ food trailer) with a nice, large seating area and (sometimes) live music. A fun place to go. It makes me smile. BUT I don't really care for the snowcone flavors. Maybe i just haven't tried the right one yet?! I love that it's all natural though. This would be a great place to take my grandkids, especially if they are playing live music at the BBQ place behind it that evening/afternoon!
I noticed a sign that said "NO" followed by a list of things like artificial colors, which made me wonder how snow cones could be made without those. However, the staff explained that while there are colors, they're all natural. My kids typically love sweets but often find that other stands' offerings are too overly sweet and can be harsh on the throat. After just one bite, I was thrilled to discover real fruit pieces blended into my flavor, which made it delicious. I savored every bite and found myself wanting more at the end. It tasted fantastic but felt healthy at the same time. I no longer dread bringing my kids here, knowing it's so much better than other options!
We had a great time. Im typically a Goblinberry type of person but I was so upset when I tried the wifes Yeti flavor. The vanilla and the coconut are no joke, they go together so well. I can imagine how good these are on a hot summer day. Im happy we went to the Argyle location because it has a nice outdoor spot to hangout. Worth the drive.
We had to come up with a new plan for our gathering at the last minute. We imagined enjoying sno-cones in the courtyard to wrap up our celebration. Luckily, Earl’s saved the day by letting us use their outdoor patio while we dashed next door to grab small ice cream cups from CVS, which was a bit embarrassing for us. It's really important that you update all your social media if you plan to close during the summer months. There was no notice at all about your shop being closed. I saw in another review that you mentioned having issues with your air conditioning, which is understandable. However, it's not fair to leave your customers in the dark. A simple courtesy would be to put up a sign at your establishment explaining the situation. You also should update your information on Google so that anyone checking your hours can see that you are temporarily closed. You can easily mark your business as "temporarily closed" on Google.
I traveled a long distance after checking Google, which showed that the restaurant was open until 9 PM. However, when we arrived at 8:30, it was completely empty. Please update your hours to indicate that they may vary. The sign on the window says 9 PM, but it seems you don't actually follow those hours. It wouldn't take much effort to be more considerate of your customers and their time. My kids were really looking forward to dining here, and we were all disappointed.
