ADORABLE, themed, all natural snow cone stand. I absolutely LOVE all the gnomes decorating the place, the little hut and the BBQ place behind it (Bumbershoot BBQ food trailer) with a nice, large seating area and (sometimes) live music. A fun place to go. It makes me smile. BUT I don't really care for the snowcone flavors. Maybe i just haven't tried the right one yet?! I love that it's all natural though. This would be a great place to take my grandkids, especially if they are playing live music at the BBQ place behind it that evening/afternoon!
I noticed a sign that said "NO" followed by a list of things like artificial colors, which made me wonder how snow cones could be made without those. However, the staff explained that while there are colors, they're all natural. My kids typically love sweets but often find that other stands' offerings are too overly sweet and can be harsh on the throat. After just one bite, I was thrilled to discover real fruit pieces blended into my flavor, which made it delicious. I savored every bite and found myself wanting more at the end. It tasted fantastic but felt healthy at the same time. I no longer dread bringing my kids here, knowing it's so much better than other options!
We had a great time. Im typically a Goblinberry type of person but I was so upset when I tried the wifes Yeti flavor. The vanilla and the coconut are no joke, they go together so well. I can imagine how good these are on a hot summer day. Im happy we went to the Argyle location because it has a nice outdoor spot to hangout. Worth the drive.
I stopped by Gnome Cones while next door at CVS on a scorching day, and I highly recommend their shaved ice. The menu features all-natural flavors, many of which are creamy. I tried the piña colada flavor, and it was fantastic. I also noticed a tajin flavor I hadn’t seen before, likely a new addition since it had its own sign. The ice is shaped like a gnome hat, showing attention to detail in the presentation—I even took a bite off the top! I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because I was expecting a snow cone with crunchy ice granules, but Gnome Cones serves shaved ice instead.
Gnome Cones is an adorable, themed snow cone stand featuring all-natural ingredients. I absolutely love the charming gnome decorations, the quaint little hut, and the Bumbershoot BBQ food trailer behind it, which offers a spacious seating area and occasionally live music. It’s a fun spot that always makes me smile. While I haven’t found a snow cone flavor I’m crazy about yet, I appreciate that their entire menu is all-natural. This would be a wonderful place to bring my grandkids, especially on days when live music is playing at the BBQ trailer.
