Nestled just outside Yellowstone Lake State Park, this low‑key bar and grill is a favorite pit stop for riders and families. Clean, relaxed indoor space and shaded outdoor seating — even dog‑friendly — complement generous, reliably tasty plates: shredded steak sandwiches, deluxe cheeseburgers, hearty pot pie and famously garlicky Parmesan fries. Frosty drinks, beer on tap, occasional live music and welcoming staff round out the experience. Expect reasonable prices and cash‑only service; wait times can stretch when busy, but portions and atmosphere make it worth the stop.

Bar Grill just outside Yellowstone Lake State Park. We went for a Sunday lunch and they had a band playing in the outside pavilion. We were able to get a table for the three of us inside. They were very short of staff for as busy as they were but we got our order in and sandwiches arrived in 20 minutes. They were very good and filling with excellent crispy tator tots as sides. Good first experience.

What a nice spot to take a break from roughing it out at Yellowstone Lake. Very friendly staff and a low key comfortable atmosphere. I was able to eat at a shaded outdoor seating area with my dog which is a super plus. Their deluxe cheese burger was delicious, nothing fancy but everything a classic burger should be. Their garlic parmesan fries is THE BEST. Loaded with seasoning and enough oil to get every single spud stick coated. Good food, shade, Wi-Fi, beer, and dog friendly. What more can you ask for.

Great place to stop and take a break from riding. Accessible from the UTV/ATV trail system. Plan on stopping again!

Excellent stop just off the trail for a frosty beverage and a bite to eat! Cash only with very reasonable prices for quality food. Great meals and friendly staff.

Food was great! I had the shredded steak sandwich and Wife had grilled cheese. My only complaint is they do not take credit cards and if it was posted anywhere I did not see it. It was HOT outside but COLD inside because I sat under a ceiling fan...Felt nice. I'd love to go back.
