Starter, main course, cheese, fruit and dessert. Everything was excellent. Its a cosy little restaurant with very good service. We live nearby and this was our fourth visit. We have never been disappointet. View all feedback.
This is my haunt in the mornings for my coffee overlooking the beautiful bridge with gorgeous flowers. Family business They make everyone feel important and take the time to talk to you. Valery makes Fish and Chips real style with vinegar and HP sauce!! Murielle an excellent hostess. Have eaten numerous times with close friends and everyone loves it. Very French and the locals are very friendly. If you want to brush up on your French pls go there. Bed and Breakfast excellent if you need one great value and not expensive at all. I totally recommend
We specifically cycled out along the Route Verte from Argenton to Au Bout du Pont after visiting by accident 2 years ago. It's the same mildly eccentric Mom Pop run country hotel restaurant offering an excellent values lunchtime menu of 4 courses for 11 euros we were the only non locals the food was plain but well done plentiful. The service was glacial, but they were clearly trying to train up a new young lady who I suspect will not last long.... Madame was as always lovely. Turn up just after midday if you want a really well done classic french country cooking experience for the price of a couple of supermarket sandwiches. Keep an eye out for the Smurfs.

This small restaurant offers no choice and it is definitely worth booking because there are only a few tables. I suspect that lunch time is probably busier than in the evening. The welcome is most warm and welcoming, the place has a very good atmosphere. We went on a recent Monday evening expecting mussels, which we saw advertised when we dropped by for a morning coffee but they had been sold at lunch. Never mind, our meal was to be a mystery tour. We had a tasty terrine to start, followed by an absolutely fabulous veal stew, which bowled us over. We felt that this course would have been well thought of in far far grander restaurants. We will definitely return in the future.
