We were looking for a place for lunch as we were cruising the canal, and decided to try this place and are so glad that we did. It had one of the best seafood salads I've ever eaten, and everyone else I was with also loved their meals. The service is also fantastic. Very friendly and at just the right pace. It was a really hot day and they kept the water cold and filled. Definitely worth a stop! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about La Terrasse du Port:
This restaurant is in the marina, a footstep away from the boats, so after a long day it is quite tempting to sit down here. The place was very pleasant during a cool and windy evening in April and the owner lit the gas burner right next to our table, which was nice.As for the food, the salads were fresh and nicely seasoned. Three of us went for lunch on a boiling hot day and chose this place as it was by the water. The steaks were high quality and cooked to perfection and the rosé was very drinkable at 5 Euros a carafe - so what's not to like? The menu du jour is interesting and very reasonable and the tables were mostly filled by local French workers which is always a good sign. They have a Facebook page so you can check if they are having a soirée.....
A great small bistro to have a supper at with friends etc. A simple meal or a drink or go for the barbecue on table option. All good and pleasant service. Good for summer and dry days as mainly outside only.
Sit and watch boats come and go from this simple but quaint outdoor eating place. We like to stop here for food and drinks while we are cycling along the canal du midi.
Group of 6 visited - one couple went ahead to aka if vegy food could be provided . Staff offered to make a vegy paella which was delicious. Had a great night - all meals were good , wine great and nothing was too much trouble
