We had oysters and tapas to start in this open sided cabin overlooking the oyster port of Ares. The oysters were so fresh you could watch them being loaded from net bags onto a conveyor belt and washed for the restaurant. The oysters gratin looked good. The chipirons were small squid fried in garlic and parsley and were fantastic. Catch of the day was sea bream , dorade. Good choice of puddings and drinks for the non wine drinkers. The hot tapas included breaded Camembert, breaded squid, onion rings and some fish cakes. A good meal in interesting surroundings.
Very well eaten and service to the top we will return as all the years elsewhere
The place is nice the decor leaves to be desired, the reception also...The dish bof...The dish of lean well, the oysters no, I took 6 there was a bad one, I was not replaced serious they had no interest, the chipirons at 22 or 23 euros, very dry not cooked for such a meal.
From reception to payment, everything was great. I guess someone else works for me in the evening. Despite my poor French, I got everything correct. Mega fine and good quality. Restaurant was very well attended. That's supposed to mean something. I'll be happy to come back. Absolutely recommended here. Thanks to the crew.
