Was Aarón Alemán at Ocopa a mag?
I only have good memories of Ocopa. You were wonderful. The waiter was very gentle, he brought us Chicha and seasoned potatoes as courtesy. The place is beautiful and everything was clean. Could be expensive compared to other restaurants, but it's worth it. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Ocopa:
We were brought here by a taxi driver around Nueva Palomino our original destination that was closed. The guy was obviously fishing for tourists and paid by Ocopa for every client he brought. He did it several times during our meal. Aggressive...marketing tactics aside, the food was ok, nothing unforgettable. With so many good and better price options in Town, I cannot recommend this place. View all feedback.

So we can try different types of food. I really liked the Rocato Rellenos (potted peppers) but the pig Chicharron was hard and dry (and not healthy for you). There were many varieties of potato dishes. The service was excellent. You are right next to Yanahuara... viewpoint with the arches. Yanauara means black underwear.

Our travel group stopped here for lunch. The restaurant presents a small buffet table for our group with many local Peruvian dishes. We enjoyed tasting the rocoto relleno (except pepper). The food was pretty good and the place was nicely decorated. The service was good. Less than a block from the restaurant is the viewpoint Yanahuara over the city.

Close to the Yanahuara overlook of the city of Arequipa, this is a charming place to eat outdoors. You enter through an archway, and all the tables are outside, with removable covers over the dining areas. We were with a small group, and there was...a lovely, small buffet table, dining tables with tablecloths, and waiters in great uniforms, resembling Argentinian gauchos, with broad-brimmed hats, scarves, and gloves. Food was quite good, with a very enjoyable cold salad selection. Looks like a great place for special parties. Right across from a beautiful church.
