This is one of my favorite restaurants in barcelona. as soon as they feel at home in them (la llar means at home in Catalan). this is a family-run restaurant where you can have a cheap and very relaxed meal. expect nothing nice, but expect very good quality home, almost comfort, eat. the owners are very friendly and will consider any request. the style of the food is typical Catalan, with pa amb-tomaquet (tomato bread) served with every meal. Almost all dishes contain meat, therefore not really a place for vegetarian, but there are usually a few fish dishes on the menu. at midday there is a very good price set menu with drinks and they will not feel hungry when they go. on Saturday and Sunday, the set menu increases price, but also the quantity and quality of the food. very recommended (at least from me) are the mejillas de cerdo al horno (pigs wangen in the ofen cooked). they are so tender and come in a delicious sauce.

Lugar agradable y rústico con comida casera tradicional catalana a un precio más que aceptable. Super recomendables las croquetas y los caracoles a la llauna. Vale la pena ir en familia.
