This is such a cool place to swim! It is a huge tidal pool and you can observe how massive waves on the rock do not crash 50 feet from you, but when it comes to where you swim, it is not more than a gentle rib. The undertrust is nothing that would disturb an adult, but you cannot allow very young children to go alone. View all feedback.
Amazing! Today was not a good day for swimming but the high tide breaking on the rocks was an espectacle
My favorite beach in Puerto Rico. The beach is not crowded, mainly locals. The views are absolutely gorgeous. Plenty of parking (free) and restaurants nearby. Waves are big, but the ocean pool is a must. Watch out for rocks. There is a stand that sells food. No bathrooms. An absolute must to visit.
La Pocita is a very beautiful beach. The shore is wide, and plenty of room to walk and play beach sports. Sometimes the tide is so steady and calm... other times it can be very strong. Just enjoy it by using common sense. You might want to bring something to protect yourself from the sun (umbrella, sunblock) and food, since are not places to eat that are walking distance. It's a nice place to have a great time while being surrounded by natural beauty and diverse people.
This is la playa of my my childhood! I have been coming to this beach for 20+ years and now have the ability to take my own children. It is kid friendly with essentially a little pool for them to swim. The reef has beautiful fish ro admire when snorkeling to.
Popular local spot! Sandy beach, warm water, fun to watch the waves hit the rocks!
