this place is a good value for money, although prices have risen a bit. eating is super fast. no longer than ten minutes have to wait! very friendly and beautiful staff. they have an outside area for smoker and non-smoking. they have exterior and on the back outside is a covered area when it rains. the best value for coffee and its really good coffee machine. pay £1,20 for a cup and fill their boots with it all day. What Men U doesn't like about The Spirit Merchant:
We ordered two 8oz gourmet steak meals - one rare and one medium. Both steaks were tough and chewy, with most of the meat left on the plate. The jacket potatoes were acceptable, but the tomato barely saw the grill and was not cooked. The salad was average, but the salad dressing was not good. Have they always been a good meal here I have never been disappointed by my meals, it is a great price because they can have a soft drink or for £2.00 more they can wee or be with him and the staff are beautiful
Great place for the price. nothing beautiful, but the alcohol is excellent and the food is decent.

Service was great. The curry club, fish and chip club and steak club are now available every day and are excellent value. Breakfast menu has got bigger and the menu overall has been updated.
