Home Sweet Home - Ards

We visited this amazing little cafe on our Northern Ireland holiday. It was delightful. We had the best coffee of our holiday with delicious cakes. We were given such a warm welcome that we actually returned on our way to the airport for one last coffee.

Home Sweet Home is the most fitting name for this awesome cafe/gift shop You truly do feel so welcomed by the two delightful staff members and the awesome food. I was shocked at the low prices they charge for their incredible home cooked treats and lunch type meals. The two staff members made you feel like you were at home, so welcoming and kind they definitely added to the already fantastic experience. The Chocolate Coca Cola cake was delicious, a seemingly odd combination works really well!!! The gifts were awesome and examples of local talent, showing this cafes representation of its community! If you are in the area I would absolutely recommend stopping by (as it is conveniently located on the Main Street), low prices, awesome vibe, great food. 5/5.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Home Sweet Home. Beautiful, home cooked food and very friendly service. We'll be back again soon for some of the desserts.

The service was excellent, the food was fantastic, and the staff were very welcoming. They are the best in town and I highly recommend this restaurant. The little shop attached is also a great idea.

There is no place like it. A warm welcome, friendly atmosphere, delicious homemade food, amazing coffee, and impeccably clean. Couldn't ask for anything more!
