Despite being a bit on the expensive side, the quality and quantity of food make it worth a visit. However, other reviews point out tension amongst staff, overpriced items, and the need for a facility makeover. While some found the food superb and beautifully presented, others felt stressed due to understaffing and high prices for average quality. Ultimately, the general consensus is that the atmosphere and food make it a nice dining option for a special occasion.

One of the best restaurants I've been to.
Really great meal! Very fresh and the flavorful. Best meal I've had in Ireland so far! The service was fantastic. They were gluten-free friendly and even had gluten-free bread available. Highly recommend!
Four of us went here yesterday. There was an hour wait for a table. I went for the 4 course for 50 euro. Tea or coffee included. When we went to pay they told me there was an extra charge of 4 euro because I had an americano and that is classed as a Speciality coffee! Ridiculous. This is not fair. We won't return there in the future. Poor value for money and lack of fairness.
Fantastic lunch today, beautiful chowder followed by amazing panacotta and Americano. We will be back.
Very good restaurant, had a classic home cooked vibe about it, and that was definitely the case. You don’t get roast potatoes like that for no reason, and cabbage side was excellent. Nice wine selection, Definitely recommend. William looked after us very well and was very professional and pleasant, but that was the case with all the staff. Only suggestion is that it was a little bright at our table, would have been nice if the lights were dimmed a little for the atmosphere. Thanks again.
