I... read more Nice bistro with table service — you’re seated on arrival, which is always appreciated. There’s no pastry offering, so no option for a coffee and a croissant. I was recommended a scone; staff said they’re very good and I saw a few people having them, but they’re just not my thing. Coffee was fine — not outstanding, but perfectly drinkable. Scrambled eggs were a little too dry for my taste, though that’s personal preference. The brown bread was absolutely gorgeous — I was told it’s homemade, and it really shows. Easily the standout. The decor is very nice: elegant, inviting, with lovely stained glass on the front door. Toilets are small and the toilet paper felt a bit cheap, which slightly breaks the otherwise polished feel. Service was very friendly and attentive throughout. Overall, a pleasant place with some real positives, especially the bread, but I’m not sure it’s somewhere I’d go out of my way to return to.
