We had a great experience at Ickey's. We were not locals and it was 9pm with a car full of teenage boys needing food. We stumbled upon Ickey's with only 2 cars in the parking lot, which initially made us skeptical. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find that it was not just a dive, but a beloved local spot. The walls were adorned with sports memorabilia and the ceiling decorated with tiles painted by patrons. Our server provided us with excellent recommendations from the wrinkly paper menu. The adults enjoyed the steak salads while the boys made friends with their own server who joined them at their table. The steak salad was tasty, with perfectly cooked medium rare steak and unexpected potato skins mixed in. The service was outstanding and it was clear that the people at Ickey's truly love what they do.
