A wonderful little place that has long been there. The fact that it gets in the middle of the country by itself and still a steady flow of customers should tell you everything you need to know. The staff is always great. I've been more regular for a few years, but my grandfather has gone since they were called Nofzigers. My personal favorite is cappuccino chip. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Homestead Ice Cream Shoppe:
Called about a job opening once. Was told by the owner that working the counter is usually for women and they don't hire men for that. She asked if I meant working with her husband in making the ice cream. Made things super awkward. The fact that it's in the middle of nowhere should have been enough of a red flag that the owner's weren't the best at business. View all feedback.
Was not impressed. My chocolate shake was more like a vanilla shake. Disappointed.

Ordered the large turtle.......so much ice cream . Very good, will be back.
